Universal Conservatory of Ballet Shines at the International Kids Festival 2026
On May 23, 2026, students from Universal Conservatory of Ballet proudly performed at the 22nd Annual International Kids Festival in Sacramento, one of Northern California’s largest multicultural family celebrations. Held at the William A. Carroll Amphitheater in William Land Park, the festival brought together thousands of families, performers, educators, and community organizations for a day dedicated to culture, diversity, creativity, and childhood.
The International Kids Festival has been a Sacramento tradition since 2004, celebrating International Children’s Day while promoting cultural understanding, artistic expression, and community engagement. Each year, young performers from many different backgrounds take the stage to share their talents and heritage with the community.
This year, Universal Conservatory of Ballet was honored to be part of this inspiring event. Our dancers presented a selection of classical and character dance performances, showcasing the discipline, artistry, and dedication they have developed through their training. From graceful classical ballet variations to energetic group dances, our students demonstrated not only technical excellence but also the joy of performing and sharing their love of dance with others.
One of the most rewarding aspects of participating in the festival was seeing young artists from many cultures come together on one stage. Events like the International Kids Festival remind us that dance is a universal language capable of connecting communities and inspiring future generations. Through music, movement, and artistic expression, children build confidence, create friendships, and gain valuable performance experience.
We are incredibly proud of all our students who represented Universal Conservatory of Ballet with professionalism, enthusiasm, and beautiful artistry. Their hard work and commitment continue to make our conservatory a special place for young dancers to grow both technically and personally.
We would also like to thank the festival organizers, volunteers, families, and community partners who make this event possible every year. Their dedication creates meaningful opportunities for children to perform, learn, and celebrate cultural diversity.
As Universal Conservatory of Ballet continues to grow, we look forward to participating in more community events that allow our students to share their passion for dance while inspiring others through the arts.
