The After-School Division offers two distinct tracks — Intensive and Recreational — allowing each student to pursue ballet at the level and schedule that best supports their growth.
🎯 Program Overview
This comprehensive afternoon curriculum builds strong technical foundations while cultivating artistry, discipline, and musicality. Students refine coordination, alignment, and strength through age-appropriate Vaganova-based training, contemporary movement, and conditioning.
Classes are held on weekday afternoons and selected weekends, making it possible for dancers to maintain traditional academics while progressing in a structured professional environment.
🌸 Recreational Track
For students who love ballet and wish to continue training at a balanced pace.
This track maintains the same high-quality instruction and artistic values with fewer weekly hours, fostering progress, grace, and enjoyment.
Curriculum Includes
• Ballet technique 2–3 times per week
• Character & creative movement
• Flexibility and coordination development
• Optional participation in studio showcases
Outcome:
Recreational dancers gain poise, strength, and expression — growing as both artists and individuals.
✨ Intensive Track
For dedicated students seeking professional-level training within an after-school schedule.
The Intensive Track parallels the philosophy and structure of the Day Conservatory Division, offering serious dancers a pathway toward future full-day study or company preparation.
Curriculum Includes
• Daily classical technique
• Pointe or pre-pointe (based on readiness)
• Contemporary and character dance
• Stretching, conditioning & floor barre
• Individual feedback and progress notes
• Optional coaching for performance or competition
Outcome:
Students develop precision, stamina, and confidence — learning not only what to do, but why it works.
