Purpose and Philosophy
The Junior Summer Intensive provides the foundation upon which strong, expressive technique is built.
Under the guidance of Oksana Vasilieva and the UCB guest faculty, dancers explore how correct placement, alignment, and musicality form the language of classical ballet.
Every class encourages curiosity and confidence — creating a space where discipline feels inspiring rather than rigid.

• Pre-pointe or beginning pointe development
• Musicality and coordination
• Character and contemporary dance
• Acting and performance quality
• Conditioning and stretching for proper alignment and injury prevention

1:00 pm – 1:45 pm contemporary/character/acting

1:45 pm – 2:00 pm pick up
